Al Sagban Group: six companies from Basra working in contracting, engineering, water, energy and supply, for the public and private sectors.
Al Sagban began as a general contractor in Basra, and companies grew around it that complete one another: Al-Hillal for contracting and infrastructure, Signature for engineering and architectural consultancy, Prektal for design, contracting and foreign trade, and Dijla and Aljuhd Al Sanid. Each company carries its own name and clients, and all of them lead back to one house.
What they share is a way of working: the idea is drawn inside the group, built inside it, and operated after handover when the contract asks for it. Basra International Airport is the example: its gate and hall were designed at Signature, its buildings and runway built by Al-Hillal, its fire system and fence delivered by Al Sagban.
We work for the public and private sectors: Basra governorate, its ministries, crossings and airport on one side, and the oil and gas companies operating in the southern fields on the other. Each has its own standards for safety, quality and documentation, and we meet them on site before we meet them on paper.

To be the Iraqi group entrusted with the south's major projects, from the idea to operation.
We design, build and operate infrastructure, public facilities and energy works to clear quality, safety and environmental standards, through specialised companies that work as one team.
Every commitment below is backed by something the group has done.
Design, construction, operation and supply inside the same group, so the decision stays close to the site.
Management systems certified to ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 across the group's contracting companies.
Operation and maintenance contracts for years after handover, and clients who return: the airport programme alone came to the group in successive contracts.
Engineers and technicians from Basra working in Basra, and offices in Istanbul and London that open the door to the world.
