Al Sagban carries the group's name and its oldest line of work: general contracting for the public sector in Basra governorate. Its record runs from the site works, roads, power and buildings of Basra's public parks to the second phase of the Shalamcheh border crossing, the fire detection system and security fencing of Basra International Airport, and the water side of the city: a 1,000 m³ desalination and treatment plant at Al-Seeba on a five-year design, build and operate contract, and wastewater treatment and transfer works for Abu Al-Khaseeb and Al-Seeba.
